I want to start dressing better, but since the high so far today has been 9 degrees, it's kind of hard. Just motivating myself to get out of my bed is hard enough, but trying to look like I have any fashion since at all is even worse.
Summer, or just warm weather in general, can't come sooner. I have so many dresses and skirts and outfits galore. Feeling the heat of the sun on my face is incredible.
Since I've decided to start working out again, all my clothes will look even better this summer. The thing I miss most about playing sports in high school was that my legs ALWAYS looked good. Oh well, c'est la vie.
My workout last night was awesome, I had this fantastic burst of energy right before working out and I didn't even start to feel tired until towards the end. I'll push myself a little harder tonight.

About Me (New and Somewhat Improved)
So, things have been pretty crazy on my end the past few weeks. But I'm working on myself now. Or, at least tonight I'm going to start to.
It starts off with cooking more. I'm making a quiche tonight, something I've been craving for weeks now. Cooking and baking have always been apart of my life. My dad, my wonderful loving dad taught me everything I know. I'll post on my food blog later on the recipe for my quiche if any of you out there who might actually read this blog want it.
Next, I need to make more time for my body. I want to start doing yoga again and maybe start running. After quiche and Glee, I might go run a mile or two and finish off the workout with a little yoga.
I've been writing a lot more as well. It's getting pretty good if I do say so myself. I want to start really seeing my city. Going to the Art Institute on Friday by myself was magical. I really loved it. I'll post the writing that I'm working on once it's completed.
On New Years, I made a resolution to start dressing better, so that's getting worked on too. I made a pile of clothes that I want to take and sell, but the snow has been so deep still and it's been so cold that I have no desire to venture out too far. Maybe I will on Friday, that can be my outing.
Since I need to keep doing well in school, I need to go get ready for class. =]
Cheers!

Thick Summer Air
She always forgets that the door pushes in and not out; or is it the other way around. Either way, she makes her way into this little hole in the wall coffee place, Meshuggah’s. It’s an old Yiddish term for being foolish or crazy, which all the people sitting outside are like. The inside, however, is filled with Grad students from Wash U sipping coffee as they write their latest paper and a group of young men stand at the tiny counter where Dennis, the only person working this afternoon, hovers. It is Fat Tire Tuesday and they want their cheap beer. A few of them turn around; eyeing her tan legs and whatever else is formed under the orange sundress that she wears on this sticky hot day. A blush creeps up her neck and she awkwardly looks away, avoiding eye contact with them. Pushing each other out of the way and running into a few of the over worked Grad students, the counter is now free. Dennis is taking his time crafting the most tantalizing sandwiches one will ever have the pleasure of knowing, with layers of sundried tomato, warm Gouda, lettuce and a sauce whose contents are even a mystery to him. Leaning against the counter he sees her and nods in a way that tells her that he’ll get her Iced Thai Coffee out in a moment.

Keroppi
HOLY COW! It's been so long since I last updated.
Hmmmm What's happened since then?
My mom saw my 2nd tattoo.
I fell in love with Chicago (again).
Quit Starbucks.
Never cleaned my room.
Packed up my life into a stack of boxes.
Rode on the back of a motorcycle.
Cut off all my hair.
Went to Build-A-Bear and made Keroppi.
Lost weight (I think).
Almost wore out the bottom of my TOMS
Made a new BFF.
Didn't get tan.
Went to the top of the Arch.
Fed koi fish.
Had the most amazing sandwich ever.
Wow. Feels like I didn't do a whole bunch but at the same time, I feel worn out just looking at it.
I'll have more fun stories to post once I move in 2 days! AHHHHHHH!!!!
