Today is the 3rd or 4th gloomy day we've had in a row. It's awful. It had been so sunny and beautiful for most of last week and now it seems as if winter has come back.
I woke up this morning not really wanting to work out, but after seeing my friend Shane and then Kat Von D tweet about how they were either going to work out or wanting to work out, I took it as a sign. So on my sneakers went and I hit the treadmill. I only ran 1.5 miles, but it has been a while since I worked out last and I didn't want to get sick like I did last time I pushed myself when I wasn't ready. Maybe tomorrow I'll run 2 or maybe I'll do the bike. Either way, I gotta keep it up because my pants are starting to fit me better! Oh happy days! I no longer have that much of a muffin top when I wear skinny jeans. Love it so much. It's very encouraging and makes me want to go eat some fruit in celebration, but I have none. I'll have to pick some up next time I go to the store. Once it gets nicer out I think I may even make the trek to Whole Foods and get a grapefruit or two and a few other things as a nice little treat to myself.

i'll spread out my wings and fly
So tomorrow is my final day of high school. Forever. I mean, unless I get bit by a vampire and have to move around all the time and stay in high school in order to keep up appearances...But I doubt I'll encounter any tonight.
The only way I feel sad about leaving South is thinking that as of tomorrow, I will no longer have a free education. I didn't really have a good "high school experience" I guess. I never skipped a class. I never went to any parties. I had average grades. All in all, I was a pretty good kid.
It's not that I wanna change it, more like see what else is out in the vast world that is before me. I want to drink good coffee while sitting outside people watching on the street writing down nonsense that no one else can understand. I want to wear bright red lipstick when it's raining outside. I want to watch the sunrise.
I want to live. And that's what I'll do.
Check back to see my progress!

This is why I eat Facon
I think that the Swine Flu is just a cover up by the government to help the economy. I mean, how many people have you seen with those HUGE bottle of hand sanitizer or carrying around those little wipes? I know that within the past like, 3 weeks, I've seen way more of those than I should. But alas, I've started to become this way too. Not only did I wipe down my keyboard before finishing my page today for Newspaper, but I also took 3 pumps of hand sanitizer during the class. But for the record, I can't get sick. Starbucks can't afford to be missing any more people lately and I need the money to go to Colorado to visit my brother. I've never had a flu shot or had the flu, but watch me get it this year even after I'm being all careful.
