What I Wore :: July 10, 2012

I went to go see my friend Naomi of What Naomi Loves in Louisville last week! We spent part of the day at the Frazier History Museum and found perfect spots to take outfit photos downtown! That huge thing behind me? That's the HUGE bat in front of the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum. So fun.

Birthdays are days to wear pretty things. I mean, you can wear pretty things any day of the year. But always on your birthday. This has got to be one of my favorite finds at a re-sale shop! It's a perfect birthday dress (even though I've had it since August).

Waiting for the bus.

Short and sweet and wonderful.

Steph took these pictures. Those are her feet.

We had to cross the street so we could get a better picture of the fabric. Tell me if you see something cuter, but I don't think you will.

Stole the Nikon and took this picture of a cyclist. Cool, right? Maybe?

Chicago is beautiful. It's even more beautiful when the sun is out. It feels like spring here in the city now. I can finally pack up my sweaters and break out the sundresses! This is what I wore while playing in the city. I was pretty trigger happy with my Polaroid yesterday. Pictures will be up soon!

What I Wore: 8.27.2011

Today is beyond beautiful. For reals, it really is. I tell people all the time how everyday I fall more and more in love with Chicago. This is one of those days where I really mean it. Even though I'm walking in heels for the first time in ages, even though my apartment feels like an oven, I still love Chicago. Always. This is what I wore.

My friend, Chris Vaughn, saw me at my local coffee shop. He snapped these pictures for me.
Gotta love sundresses.

These shoes are far too cute to be on my feet. Or are they?
Smiles all around!!

Shoes: ModCloth
Sunglasses: Ray Bans
Bracelet: Gift from my brother

Like I said, Chris Vaughn, took these. Follow him on Twitter. He's a radd dude.

Hello, all!
Yesterday was simply beautiful here in Chicago. Not too hot, not too humid; a perfect day to wear a favorite dress. I'm moving (again) in a week (eek!!), so cute outfits are getting limited. In this cute frock, I went thrifting and played with kids! Yay!

My hallway because the rest of my place is a mess.

So in love with this dress.

Look at that awesome tan line! Maybe I should use self tanner to fix it?

Opps. Glasses started falling off.

I found them on the bus! Pretty neat, huh?

Shoes: TOMS

Blah. What an awful day today was. I mean, it started out pretty good at my favorite coffee shop. They take such good care of me there.

But this past week and a half, my laptop has been acting...well...odd. To say the least. It wasn't charging, and would randomly shut off when I was in the middle of things. My friends who are much much smarter than me told me that there was either a hardware problem or a battery problem with my laptop. After much frustration and lots of trips on the bus, I now have a new netbook. It's totally adorable.

Yesterday was much better. I spent the day with Dieter, the 7-year-old I watch. We went to my coffee shop, ran errands, baked cookies, played in the park and just had fun. He's a great kid and I love having that one on one time that I don't usually get. Anyways, this is what I wore.

Eww. Gross sponge in this picture.

nom.nom.nom.

Pale legs.
Heaven.

Shirt: Old Navy

I read a lot of baby blogs. Like, way too many for a 19 year old college student. But one thing that I love about the mothers is, despite having to care for children, they don't ditch their style.

Miss James of Bleubird Vintage. I adore her and her 3 kids that she frequently features on her blog. This proud momma has amazing style. I wish I was one of her kids so I could inherit some of her wardrobe.
